COVID-19 Patient Arrival & Check-in Processes

Saginaw Colony Drive Clinic

1. Pull into the parking lot and park in a space
2. Proceed inside the building, you are required to wear a mask on entering the building and throughout your visit.  
3. Inside, a front desk staff member will take your temperature and handle check-in paperwork. 
4. After check-in is complete, you will be guided immediately into an exam room to avoid waiting in the lobby area.

Saginaw Concentric Boulevard Clinic

1. Enter the patient parking lot and park your vehicle.
2. Proceed inside the building, you are required to wear a mask on entering the building and throughout your visit.  
3. A front desk staff member will greet you inside conduct screening questions and take your temperature. 
4. You will be checked in, sign consents and submit copays.
5. Once check-in is complete, you have the option to wait in our socially-distanced lobby area, or you may opt to provide your cell phone number and return to your vehicle and wait for a call that your exam room is ready.
6. Patients checking in when there is a full waiting area will submit their cell phone number and return to their vehicle until called.
7. A medical assistant will call you when ready and escort you to the exam room.

Saginaw Houghton Avenue Clinic

1. Enter the patient parking lot and park your vehicle. 
2. Proceed inside the building using the west patient entrance (under the maroon CMU Health awning). 
3. You are required to wear a mask on entering the building and throughout your visit.  
4. A medical staff member will greet you inside the west entrance, conduct screening questions and take your temperature.
5. You will then proceed to the reception desk/check-in area where you will be checked in, sign consents and submit copays. 
6. Once check-in is complete, you have the option to wait in our socially-distanced lobby area, or you may opt to provide your cell phone number and return to your vehicle and wait for a call that your exam room is ready. 
7. Patients checking in when there is a full waiting area will submit their cell phone number and return to their vehicle until called. 
8. A medical assistant will call you when ready and escort you to the exam room.

Saginaw Washington Avenue Clinic

1. Pull into the parking lot and park in a space, then walk proceed to the front door. 
2. A medical assistant will take your temperature and administer a COVID screening questionnaire.
3. You are required to wear a mask on entering the building and throughout your visit.  
4. Proceed to the check-in window and complete check-in procedure. 
5. After check-in is complete, you will be seated in the waiting room with a maximum capacity of 10. 
6. A medical assistant/nurse will call you when ready and escort you to the exam room.
