Willy, Mildred
M.D.
Biography
Mildred Willy, M.D., is the associate dean of student affairs at the Covenant HealthCare College of Medicine at Central Michigan University, appointed in May 2019 overseeing student services, career advising, wellness, and professionalism. Before her appointment, she spent her career practicing emergency medicine in the Great Lakes Bay Region and continues to practice clinically part-time. She has a strong interest in graduate medical education and was previously core faculty and an assistant program director for the emergency medicine residency program in Saginaw, Michigan. Willy received her M.D. from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her residency in emergency medicine at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. She received her B.A. in Chemistry and Psychology from Indiana University, Bloomington. Willy has a strong commitment to continuous learning for physicians and has served on both national and regional education committees. She is excited to contribute to CMU’s rural mission, which addresses the physician shortage in our area.
