COVID Vaccine Information
Bivalent boosters available at CMU
CMU is now offering both the Pfizer and Moderna bivalent vaccine boosters on campus. Healthy students, faculty and staff may receive the bivalent vaccine at the University Health Services Clinic in Foust Hall:
- Clinic hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-4:30 p.m.
- Walk-ins are welcome, or you can make an appointment by calling 989-774-6599, option 1.
- Masks are optional in clinical spaces at CMU.
- Please bring your vaccine card with you when you go to get your booster.
Healthy individuals aged 12 years or older may receive the bivalent booster two months or more after receiving the last dosage of their primary vaccine series (two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine/single dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine) or their last booster. Immunocompromised individuals should speak with their health care provider about the bivalent booster.
You must complete the two-dose regimen of the primary series of COVID-19 vaccines before receiving the bivalent booster. As of April 1, 2023, University Health Services will not be offering the primary series, Pfizer or Moderna. Primary series vaccines doses are available in several area health clinics, as well as the Central Michigan Health Department. Check the Michigan.gov vaccine page to find options.
