Biography

Dr. Janet Nunn works on the Mount Pleasant campus in the student health department as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry. She received her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and completed her residency in Psychiatry at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA in 2016. After residency, Dr. Nunn began her active military service as a staff psychiatrist and served as the medical director of the inpatient psychiatry ward and departmental head of the outpatient mental health clinic at the Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. After completing 8 years of military service, Dr. Nunn joined the medical faculty at CMU in 2020. Dr. Nunn's work as a psychiatrist at CMU focuses on the mental health treatment of the students, faculty, and family members of the CMU community.
